CommentJames Kemsley may be gone but not forgotten...
James Kemsley, the illustrator of the iconic Australian cartoon character Ginger Meggs, was posthumously awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for his work on the comic strip and for the Bradman Foundation.

CommentAs you may have heard last July we dusted off the cobwebs off Tadpoles, got a MOT and I drove it across to Dublin for the Flight Centres 25th Anniversary conference. We had a brand new coach (AMZ) there at the same time. In true Tadpoles style it overheated for the first 25 miles (Thermostat stuck) till it cleared, then didn't miss a beat, so services of International Recue not needed. Still leaks right above the accererator pedal and windscreen wipers still don't work. Swear I heard Lippos voice behindd me whenever I slightly missed a gear.

CommentThis message posted on Top Deck Buses youtube. I am sure everybody remembers Hermann the German
Hi!
My Dad runs the camp site in St. Goar, Germany. Maybe some of you remember "Hermann the German"?!?
I grew up with the Deckers comming to our place! Oh Gee, what do I miss them! I miss the stench of their old diesels. I miss the driver's black arms (from fixing the busses - you could allways make out the TD drivers in a crowd ;-)).
It never was the same with the modern coaches. Since 2006 they do not stop at my Dad's any more :-( at all.
I remember crying when the last decker left. Stefan

CommentHi everybody, as the keeper of the boat racing trophy till 2009, I thought I would get the engraving up to date. I have managed to find some past winning teams off the website "History of Reunions", but I still need to find the winners of 2004 - Leeton, 2005 - Heathcote and 2006 - Tasmania. So if your memory serves you well, please let me know. Thanks
JUDE

PS: Thanks to the Queensland reunion committee for an awesome weekend. They keep raising the bar don't they!!!!
